To ensure that third-party auditing standards are consistent around the country, the AECL has developed an auditor training program and an audit checklist (Auditors evidence guide). Auditors will be required to undergo this training in order to be AECL accredited to audit the Egg Corp Assured (ECA) Program. All ECA audits will be conducted using a standard audit checklist (Business audit report and /or Grading/packing floor business auidt report) and accreditation will be managed by AECL.

Steps to become an AECL Accredited Auditor:

Initial;
  • complete the Auditor Training Course, for more information phone 02 9409 6999.
  • complete the Auditor Accreditation Application Form $150.00 (incl GST)
  • a certificate and ID card will be issued

Ongoing;
  • complete an Auditor Accreditation Application Form $150.00 (incl GST) per annum
  • perform a minimum number of four audits annually (as of March 2008)
  • attend a minimum of one ECA information/training seminar annually
  • Hold and maintain a current RABQSA Certificate
  • a certificate and ID card will be issued annually
